Team registrations are being accepted for the 17thth Annual Lax Max Tournament scheduled for the weekend of June 10-12, 2011. This years tournament will take place only in
Westminster, MD which is located just northwest of Baltimore in Carroll County. Lax Max is an open level youth tournament which encourages all levels of recreation travel, club and school affiliated teams the opportunity to participate within the following competition levels of AA, A, B, B/C & C. Separate boys and girls leagues in the dual year age groupings of 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 (no high school players in this division), 15/16 (U17) and 17/18 (U19) are available.
Lax Max 2011 is organized by Pikesville Sports in association with Westminster Area Lacrosse and the cooperation of the Westminster and Carroll County Recreation Departments. Lax Max is one of the largest youth lacrosse events in the United States, attracting between 280 and 320 teams on an annual basis.
For high school age level teams, CaptainU will be creating player profile books for attending college coaches which allow players and teams to further maximize their exposure at the event. In addition,CaptainU will also be offering highlight video services and game filming for any team or player interested. Housing services for out of town teams will be provided by WST Sports.
A player's age group participation is determined by their age as of Sept. 1st in the 7/8 & 9/10 age levels,
with a player's age as of Jan. 1st for all older age groupings.
A team's age group placement is determined by the age of your oldest player
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three (40 minute) games in preliminary round robin competition, with single elimination play-offs and championship taking place where applicable. The first and second place teams in all divisions receive awards.
Teams must register using the Lax Max tournament application prior to the registration deadline date
All team "roster/waiver" forms (ONE FORM PER TEAM) must be received ten days prior to the event

Applications can only be accepted on a first come/first paid/first served basis
No team will be scheduled until their registration form and fee has been received.
The registration deadline (if space permits) is Monday, May 20, 2011
